Workshop: November 15 2016, Cambridge (UK): Dialogue on methods for ecology

  • This dialogue aims to identify some crucial challenges in the area of micro- to macro ecology for the next 20 years as seen by biologists today, which may be tractable to a mathematical modelling approach.

A special session on " Multi Omic metabolic models and statistical Bioinformatics of adaptations and biological associations", organized in the contest of the MetABLE project, has been accepted in CIBB2015 (*Computational Intelligence methods for Bioinformatics and Biostatistics* ,

MetaBLE "Advanced bioinformatics for genome and metagenome analyses with discovery of novel biocatalysts from extremophiles: implications for improving industrial bioprocesses."

The aim of this project is to acquire new insights about the mechanisms of environmental adaptation, particularly for cold-adapted organisms, and to discover novel metabolic pathways and enzymes with potential industrial value.
